Here’s a short interview with Tullian Tchividjian on dealing with suffering honestly within the church. He hits some very awesome points, such as:
- because Jesus won for me, I’m free to lose
- because Jesus was strong for me, I’m free to be weak
- because Jesus succeeded for me, I’m free to fail
Here’s great one liner from the interview that really really says a lot – “My identity is so anchored in who Christ was for me, and not what I need to become, that it actually takes the burden off of my shoulders to pretend that I’m something that I’m not.”
